I like the minimalist colours and lines edmund de waal holds in his collections and he is able to hold true to the ceramics individuality with tender leans  in the finished product  and also a touch of signature pinches to illuminate his handy work

I am leaning towards oil barrels as it is the most obvious representation of the oil industry,and within my limitations of a 3 week crash course in ceramics and throwing.
